I am a bit of a smoker so I was hesitant as to if it was safe for me to have abortion pills. I was not in the freedom to go to a clinic to get a checkup so I contacted the website live chat support hoping they would be able to guide me. They told me that smoking wasn’t a problem if I didn’t have heart/ liver/ kidney diseases [ that stem from smoking] however they also advised me not to smoke or drink during the procedure. Now that the procedure is done, I can smoke as I want.

After I took the Misoprostol pills, I started bleeding in two hours. The bleeding gradually increased and I began to pass blood clots a size of lemon. As the blood clots passed they became bigger and bigger and suddenly the bleeding diminished. I had to change my pads four times in a day. I lightly bled for three days and then spotted a couple of times after that. I experienced slightly dizziness after taking the pills, so fair warning to other women – don’t go for work for at least three-four days during the procedure and don’t bath, shower instead.

My abortion went something like this, when i took Mifepristone, i bled lightly for the first 12 hours then it stopped. A day later after i took Misoprostol, again the bleeding started, this time more intensely. I passed small-marbled sized blood clots 5 to 6 times in total when the bleeding gradually reduced and then eventually stopped. I feel much better now.
